Mexico's Contribution to Global Social Justice with Nobel Prize Winner, Dr. Jans Fromow

This event will honor the trajectories of Mexicans who, being exemplars of virtue, contribute daily to global social justice.  The panel is made up of doctors, diplomats, and social activists who are united by their love for Mexico and their conviction to create more just realities.   As our keynote speaker, Dr.Jans Fromow Guerra will discuss his important work in the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) which was awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize. As a member of the award winning team, Dr. Fromow has drawn international attention to the catastrophic consequences of the use of nuclear weapons and has helped to finalize a ban on their use.  Dr. Marian Vidaurri will discuss her contributions to hemispheric unity as director of political analysis and special missions at the Organization of American States. Dr. Rogelio Cruz Martinz will share his joint contributions wiht the Kristen A.C. Foundation in developing a sustainable and inclusive model of Fetal Medicine in Mexico.  Jennifer Iannolo, a social activist for women's rights, will discuss her contributions to the Philadelphia's chapter in the upcoming women's empowerment program to be implemented in Mexico in 2018.
