The Nancy Farriss Graduate Student Paper Award is given annually to the best paper in Latin American and Latinx Studies written by a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. The prize honors the scholarly leadership of Dr. Nancy M. Farriss, who founded the Latin American Cultures Program at Penn in 1986.
Submissions for the 2024 Award are due March 22, 2024. The submission must be a single-authored paper written while the student is still in a PhD program at Penn. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the center at clals-upenn@sas.upenn.edu.
