How are social demands articulated in extractive economies? LALS Director Dr. Tulia Falleti presents on this topic at the National University of Comahue in Argentina

LALS Director and The Class of 1965 Term Associate Professor of Political Science, Tulia Falleti, will participate in an important conference on the increasing exploitation of hydrocarbon extraction in agricultural production in Comahue region of Argentina.  The conference takes place on March 6, 2019 at the  National University of Comahue (Universidad Nacional del Comahue).  Dr. Falleti will specifically speak about the articulation of social demands in extractive economies.

Dr. Falleti's participation in this conference relates to her ongoing research on the rights and political participation of indigenous persons in extractive economies in Latin America.
