Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies This past September, Penn Ph.D. Candidate Adam Goodman (History Department) was featured on Mexican National TV to discuss the factors that cause migration, whether the "American dream" is still alive, the business of migration and deportation, and the competing narratives of Mexico being an economic success story versus the vast majority who continue to struggle to get by.
