Luciana Dias de Lima will be a Visiting Fellow of the Latin American and Latino Studies Program at the University of Pennsylvania during the 2018-2019 academic year. Dr. Dias de Lima is a Medical Doctor from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil (1993), with a residency in Social and Preventive Medicine from the National School of Public Health in Brazil, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (1996), and a Master of Science (1999) and Ph.D. (2006) in Public Health from the State University of Rio de Janeiro.

Dr. Dias de Lima is a tenured Professor of the Graduate Studies Program in Public Health and a Senior Researcher in the Department of Health Administration and Planning at the Sergio Arouca National School of Public Health (Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). She is also Editor-in-Chief of the well-known public health journal Cadernos de Saúde Pública (http://cadernos.ensp.fiocruz.br/csp/portal/). Her research interests include Analysis of Health Policies and Systems; Federalism, Territory, and Health Policy; Decentralization, Regionalization, and Intergovernmental Relations in Health Policy.
